Peter Garretson is a Senior Fellow in Defense Studies with the American Foreign Policy Council and co-director of its Space Policy Initiative and host of the Space Strategy Podcast.  He was previously the director of Air University’s Space Horizons Task Force, an Air Force think tank for space, and was a founder and deputy director of the U.S. Space Force’s Schriever Scholars Strategy Seminar, America’s premier military space strategy program. He is the author of Scramble for the Skies: The Great Power Competition to Control the Resources of Outer Space. His latest book is The Next Space Race: A Blueprint for American Primacy.

 

Dr. Edward Tate is the CTO & co-founder of Virtus Solis Technologies which is commercializing space based solar power. Virtus Solis is developing tools and hardware to make energy cheaper and more abundant by generating where its cheap and beaming power where it’s needed. In 2022, Virtus Solis won the Level 2 - Stage 1 NASA “Watts on the Moon” Challenge with a design for beaming wireless power across the lunar surface. In 2023, Virtus Solis demonstrated the largest end-to-end, electronically steered wireless power transfer across a football field in Indianapolis.

 

Dr. Tate earned his masters degree from Stanford and PhD from the University of Michigan. He is a prolific inventor with more than 40 issued patents. He has 30+ years of experience with transportation & energy systems. His career started as an engineer on the EV1, GM’s first commercial electric vehicle. After 20 years in automotive, he moved to scientific software. At Exa and then Dassault Systemes he led global teams focused on replacing physical testing with simulation at many of the largest automotive, aerospace, and industrial organizations. Throughout, he helped speed up development and reduce costs by orders of magnitude so new ideas became reality faster and cheaper. He is focused on doing the same with space based solar power.

Ari Eisenstat is directing the Space Program for the Texas Eclipse Festival.  He International Futurist at the University of Hawai’i - Research Center for Future Studiie and Matsunaga Institute for Peace & Conflict Resolution Instructor in Human Rights, Space Exploration, and Astrobiology. Ari facilitates Outer Space Innovation and Advocacy programs through the United Nations Association-USA, Nexus Global Summit, and UH NASA Astrobiology Institute, Ari serves as Advisor for the Conrad Foundation, Chair of the Advisory Board of 'Space for Humanity,' and has presented for programs hosted at NASA Houston

The Rocket Girl Report from Meredith Garofalo.  Meredith is an award-winning certified broadcast meteorologist (CBM) and space/science correspondent, owner of Rocket Girl Enterprise LLC.  She will bring us feature reports monthly relating to the science of space and when possible highlight women in space and their contributions.

The Space Ace, aka Ubaldo Ciminieri with the Workforce Lens.  Ubaldo's mission with these segments,

Daniel Grows, with Daniel Tompkins.  Daniel will highlight the things most people never think about when it comes to life in space!  Daniel works to find solutions to large scale difficult problems in feeding life on Earth and beyond. He has 20 years of concurrent work, study, and research of environmental and agricultural science and production.

The Galaxis Gal, Inara Tabir.  Inara is focused on the human settlement of space.  Her segments will highlight the need of every person to focus on promoting human migration, exploration, and settlement of space.
